Meet Sarah

Watch the Full Interview

Sarah is a deeply intuitive, heart-centered leader. Her lifelong pull to serve others and create a better world, kept her searching for ways to live her purpose. Her passion resided in helping others realize their soul's purpose, embrace their unique vision and align their life to it.

She knew she wanted to start her own business, so she built her first business around her skills in public relations and event planning. She enjoyed her work and was successful in maintaining a steady client base. And it checked the box for helping her clients bring their vision into the world through her work with them.

In creating copy for her clients’ websites, Sarah noticed she was receiving feedback that reached beyond the normal feedback for copywriting. Her clients were sharing that she was helping them get more in touch with themselves, and they felt she really helped them in aligning their life to their vision. Sarah felt a nudge that there was more within those comments to explore, and while that was really appealing to her, she didn’t have enough clarity to truly see where it could lead - she never imagined it be coaching.

She reached out to Steph Gold for guidance and it wasn’t until their conversation that she started to consider coaching. Steph clearly saw the natural-born coach in Sarah, and knew all Sarah needed to do was to see it in herself. Steph invited Sarah into her business coaching and mentoring program to gain clarity and align her business to not only her clients' vision for their lives, but her own abilities and passion as a heart-centered leader and coach.

Initially, Sarah felt so much resistance welling up from her need for a solid plan that she didn't move forward. She didn’t feel ready or know how it would all play out. She didn’t have a coaching program to share with new clients, and she didn’t have the answers to every question or know how to solve every problem they would encounter. With Steph’s guidance and help in creating the space to take each new step forward, she created a working business plan and dove in. She quickly had her first clients.

“I don’t think I felt ready until I helped my first few [coaching clients]. You kind of feel like you’re bullshitting. As scary as it is, you’re kind of like,

‘I think I can do this. I’ve been tapped to do this. I’ve learned a lot.’

But the whole time you kind of feel like you’re making it up…You’re still able to help people more than you know, and that’s how you learn. I don’t think there gets to be a moment where you’re a hundred percent confident and know everything and can solve every problem.”

A year into working with Steph, Sarah’s coaching business is thriving and Sarah has never been more clear in her purpose. As she continues learning in her own journey, she is able to bring true understanding, guidance and support to her clients facing the same challenges she had. Her newfound secret to her success is, when you’re doing what you’re meant to do, the clients come. When you say yes and are willing to take the big step forward, the universe brings you what you need to validate you are doing what you are meant to do.

“ My new definition of ready is when the excitement just ekes out the fear enough that it feels worth it.”

Sarah knew she could truly help her first few clients, and she knew where to start with them, but she didn’t know exactly where it would go in the following weeks. She didn’t have a step by step plan, but she realized in working with her clients that she didn’t need to. In order for her to help them gain clarity, design their own vision for their lives and align to it, she needed to be open, flexible, present and to create the space for them to move each step forward, side by side, just as she had done with Steph. She needed to be there to help them show up for themselves and to help them make it happen for themselves. If she had a structured plan, it would get in the way of the client’s unique needs. Sarah shares resources with them, helps them create a plan but it comes from the work they are doing in that moment, not a cookie cutter plan.

Now she prepares for her coaching session with her clients in one simple step. She sets the intention to be what the client needs, and allows herself to be present and a channel for that. She sees that in following her own soul’s path and setting the intention to serve her clients, what her clients need comes through her. She becomes the channel, and the results have followed. Her clients are getting exactly what they need and Sarah has built not just a thriving coaching business, but a thriving, loyal client base.

Although Sarah's clients  are all in different places in their lives, Sarah shares a soul connection with them. And through that connection, she helps them move forward into their unique purpose in the world, just as she has. Through this work, Sarah clearly sees who she is meant to serve and feels coaching has closed the gap on her own alignment, allowing her to live her soul's purpose through her work.
